Very cool spot in a cool neighborhood. Two nice patios and decent beer selection and daily specials.

Great food, great beer and it's child friendly! I loved this place before I had kids and love that I can still enjoy it with my little one.

Curry fries. It is all about the curry fries. But how do you improve on perfection? You add beer braised chicken to your curry fries, that's how!!I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is fantastic. The food is really great. Lots of tasty beers available. The patio is also great.

Love the place, although some of the appetizers could be bigger (the tempura rolls, very good, just not enough), hummus could use a bit more flavour, good pizza though. Great patio(s), and atmosphere. Real 20oz pints are also a plus.

Great food and service on a Sunday around 1pm. Want to come back in the summer time to take advantage of the patio. Nachos are good and they aren't skimpy on the ingredients. Gauc was delicious and tasted fresh. We also got the spicy chicken burger with poutine and chorizo Mac and cheese. Great flavours. Server was lovely, super cute and attentive. They will see us again. Finding parking may be an issue.

My favourite pub in Calgary. Comfy, great beer selection, great service. Food is good and love that when I crave a hotdog I know where to go! Daily soups are good too!

Struggled to find a beer I liked, but I did manage to perceive and finally settled on a tap. Can't remember his name, but the bald headed server was beyond awesome.

The Oak Tree is a favourite. They have delicious veggie options, and can pour a proper pint of Guinness. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there’s nothing better than enjoying a beer on their beautiful patio in the summer!

Nice little pub, great food and craft beer. Their burgers are incredible... pretty much everything I've had there was above expectations. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Friendly service and they take food allergies and gluten-free needs seriously. I loved the gf curry poutine. More than enough to satisfy my late night craving and the leftovers were awesome scrambled up with a couple of eggs for breakfast the next day.

By far the best pub in Calgary , maybe even all of Alberta if not Canada. We go here any time we want a proper pint of the black stuff (Guinness). Best pint of Guinness west of Ireland. Their food is amazing and all made from scratch. My favourites are the meatloaf, Guinness beef stew and baked chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. Great patio in the summer time which is pet friendly with loads of sun and shade.

This little Tavern in the heart of Kensington is very quaint and had a nice ambiance. The service was slow for food and quick for drinks - a typical tavern experience. The drinks were quite good and the food was surprisingly good as well. The butter chicken was on coconut rice with roasted cauliflower and it tasted amazing. I had the beef stew and while it was nice and comforting, it was a bit under seasoned. My boyfriend had the nachos and they are loaded but fairly salty. All in all a good experience. There was even a music crew playing fiddles in the back. I would come here for a late night snack again or just to catch up with some friends.

Casual atmosphere with friendly staff who are attentive to our large group. Appetizers were quality and enjoyed by the whole gang. Live Celtic music was a wonderful bonus

Great place to grab a beer, and the food is pretty good too. I've had bad service in the past but I haven't seen those servers around lately.I really miss bingo, and sorry the sing along just isn't my cup of tea.

Had an amazing time on a Sunday afternoon listening to the Irish band. Awesome experiece and the curry fries were great!

Cozy place, definitely nice vibe. Food is pub food, definitely good, but not great. Fish n chips were nice, so were the curry fries. Excellent place to grab a beer with friends, music wasn't too loud, seats were comfortable.

Really nice place with 2 patios and 2 floors of seating! A lot bigger than it looks. The drinks are served fast and cold and the nachos and taco pizza were absolutely amazing! Definitely coming back soon with more people. Thanks for the great evening!

Their dog friendly patio really made my day. I have never been to their establishment before and they were super welcoming. The girl that served us was awesome. The beer was great and the poutine was even better. Highly recommend.

A small and cozy pub that seems to be a bit of a hidden gem in my eyes. In the busy area of Kensington where many other pubs and restaurants are lies the Oak tree tavern. From what I can tell service is super fast and super friendly. A bit of a small town feeling sneaks up on you. Must go back again and stay a bit longer.

Outdoor seating section as awesome. Atmosphere was good. Perfect place to spend time with friend. Place was nice.

Food is always fabulous. The rotating taps usually have a great selection. Patio is wonderful and you can even bring along your pup!!! Our server was on her very first shift and did a fantastic job serving the patio. Have yet to have a disappointing experience here!!

I go to Calgary a lot and always stay on this side of town just so I can have the oak tree as my local tavern. The food is surprisingly good. A little heavy (it is an Irish pub) but packed with flavour and very delicious. I also love the Irish music on Wednesdays and Sundays. If you’re lucky to go during the summer, the patio has a great view. The owner of the bar is often there and he is a delight.

The service was good, the nachos were kinda gross to eat past the top few chips on the top. The bottom of the dish was drowned in cheese and the nachos were just soggy mush below the surface. Could only eat the top half. Patio space is nice and the dog patio is a really sweet option

Service is always amazing, those folks do one helluva job! Sundays are the best times to come - for Irish music night! I've never been disappointed by the food, the dog friendly patio is just great. I highly recommend the dill pickle soup and a Guinness, can't go wrong!

Oak Tree I small little tavern. There isn't much seating inside but it has a large patio. It's great place in the spring/summer but it can feel a little small in the winter.The food is great and they even offer their own in-house lager which is actually pretty good. The staff are great and I would recommend this place go anyone.

Just popped in while killing some time before our flight, pleasantly surprised. We were just on a vacation in Ireland & this place is pretty legit.
